I am just a 38 year old suburban girl! (Can I still say, "girl" at 38? I'm going with yes.) I truly love to keep life simple and enjoy the beauty of the things around me. I always loved the city, but then again the country and a hobby farm always seemed to fit as well. Over time, the chicken life won and for the record "chicken math is a real thing".

I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and together we're raising two pretty amazing kids who keep life busy, loud, and full of laughs. I love traveling and exploring new places, but I'm just as happy at home with a cup of coffee in hand, dreaming up my next house project. We've been slowly renovating our 1924 home, and apparently I've decided that there will always be another project. 

Give me a warm summer evening, good music, time with the people I love, and a beautiful sunset and my life is complete! I'm a sucker for the little things- the everyday moments that don't seem like much while you're living them but somehow end up meaning everything!

I've always been an old soul- the sentimental one who holds onto photographs, memories and all the little pieces of life that somehow become more meaningful with time. 

I think that's a big part of why I fell in love with photography. For more than 15 years, I've watched families grow, babies become big kids, and couples come back to me years after their wedding with a whole new chapter to document. And somehow along the way, I've realized that the moments that matter most are usually the ones we never planned. 

So yes, I'll help you with where to stand and what to do with your hands- but I'm really watching for everything happening in between. The laughter. The Connection. The tiny hand reahing for yours.

Because someday, the ordinary things you're living right now won't feel ordinary at all.  

My high school sweetheart, and on a really hot day in August of 2010 we made the whole, ‘I love you’ thing official! 

Over the past decade many of our big life decisions have been made by a little game called paper, rock, scissors.  

Every day he focuses on being the best version of himself!

MICHAEL

My first born, the one who taught me about unconditional love. He rises with the sun and always has sports on the mind. He is growing fast but still ends everyday with the best snuggles.

HARVEY

She is the giggliest little girl with the biggest personality and best dimples! She is full of spirit but at the same time has brought a softness into our home that we never knew we needed.

She has made our family and my soul complete.
